Application Process

Organizations requesting Zakat funds are evaluated by the Zakat Fund of NYC based on the following criteria:

• Mission of the organization is Zakat eligible

• Organization is a registered as a 501 (c)(3) entity

• Funds are distributed to the benefit of the residents of the NYC Metro Area

• Organization has clear established processes to monitor the use of the Zakat funds

If you would like to apply for Zakat funds, please complete and submit the appropriate application (General Program or Food Program).
