Caseworker & Community Outreach Coordinator +

• The Zakat Fund of NYC is hiring for its first ever full-time staff! The Zakat Fund has been serving the New York community for almost ten years, and is currently in a period of rapid growth and transformation. We seek community-minded, impact-driven, dynamic applicants for the dual role of Caseworker (70%) and Community Outreach Coordinator (30%) on our small but mighty team. The selected candidate will assist with Zakat collection and distribution to local families in need; they will also act as a thought partner to the Executive Director in facilitating collaboration with local organizations, managing donor engagement, and developing educational programming.
• Location: Hybrid (must reside in the NY metro area)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000/year (commensurate with experience)
